Steps For Making Chicken Sukka At Your Home

Chicken Sukka dish is basically made using the common ingredients available in any house. It is made up of pieces of chicken and masala paste. Here we made this dish according to the Indian style. It can be made in many ways, but one of the easiest and tastiest procedures is given below.

Ingredients
  

For Dry Roasting

  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Cup Fresh Coconut Grated
  • 10-12 Garlic Cloves

For Ghee Roasting

  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 3 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tsp Poppy Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Black Peppercorn
  • 3-4 Cloves
  • 20-25 Byadgi Red Chilli
  • 10-12 Guntur Red Chilli

Final Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken Curry Cut
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Cup Onion Finely Chopped
  • 5-6 Garlic Cloves Crushed
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind Paste

Instructions
 

For Dry Roasting

  • First, you have to dry roast all the ingredients mentioned above in the pan until they slightly turn to brown.
  • Keep them aside and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Now it's time to take the dry roasted ingredients which we kept aside for cooling. Pour them into the blender for making a smooth powder mixture.
  • Then, remove the mixture from the blender and keep it aside in the bowl.

For Ghee Roasting

  • Now pour the Ghee into the roasting pan for heating it.
  • Then put all the ingredients mentioned in the Ghee roasting column of ingredients in the same pan that we used earlier. Keep on roasting until they turn to brown color.
  • Now, remove them from the pan and place them on the open plate for cooling.
  • Add Ghee roasting ingredients in a blender and then grind them to form a paste. Make sure to add some water while blending.
  • Now keep this paste in another bowl.

Final Steps

  • Take the pan and pour 4 tbsp ghee to heat it.
  • Now fry onion & garlic in that ghee till it turns translucent.
  • Then add the pieces of chicken and fry it for nearly 3-4 minutes on high flame.
  • And take the paste which we made in the Ghee Roasting section in addition to water & salt and pour it in the pan. Cook them for 15-20 minutes.
  • Now pour the dry roasted mixture and cook for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked completely.
  • And now, according to the taste add turmeric powder.
  • If you want, you can add sliced onion fried.
  • Finally, your Chicken Sukka is ready to be served.
