Steps For Making Chicken Patiala Recipe

Ingredients
  

For Marination

  • 200 gm Chicken Pieces
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Deggi Mirch Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp Roasted Kasuri Methi Crushed
  • 2 tbsp Curd

For Gravy

  • 2-3 tbsp Oil
  • 2 Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Garlic
  • 2 Small Onion Fine chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp Green Chilli Chopped
  • Ginger Julians
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 Tomato Fine chopped
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Deggi Mirch Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 Soup Bowl Water
  • 5-6 tbsp Cashew Paste
  • 2-3 tbsp Butter
  • Green Coriander Chopped
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp Cream

Instructions
 

For Marination

  • In a bowl mix all ingredients with chicken pieces and leave it for 30 minutes.

For Gravy

  • In a pan add oil and when the oil becomes hot, then add dry red chilli, cumin seed, garlic and saute till garlic change its little colour.
  • Now add chopped onions and saute till the onion changes its colour into light brown.
  • Now add chopped green chilli, ginger Julians and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  • After this add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw flavor goes.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes. salt and cook till oil separates.
  • At this stage add turmeric powder, deggi mirch powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and cook all spices till oil separates.
  • Add marinated chicken and cook it for 5-7 minutes on high flame.
  • Add water and stir it. Now cover the pan and let it cook for 5-6 minutes.
  • Now add cashew paste, cream, butter, green coriander leaves, garam masala, and stir it for 1 minute. Now Chicken Patiala is ready to serve.

Notes

  • After adding cream to the chicken don't cook it for a long time because the cream will release oil.
  • When you add salt to gravy then don't forget that you already added salt in the marination.
