How To Make Chicken Masala Recipe At Home
Chicken masala is one of the Indian traditional non-veg recipes, which is made with aromatic spices that easily available in every kitchen. For Marination
- 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Lemon
- ½ tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli
- ½ tbsp Salt
For Gravy
- 6 tbsp Mustard Oil
- ½ tbsp Cumin (Jeera)
- 4 Cloves (Laung)
- 4 Black Pepper (Kali Mirch)
- 2 Green Cardamoms (Elaichi)
- 2 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
- 2 Bay Leafs (Tej Patta)
- 4 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 300 gm Onion Fine Chopped
- 250 gm Tomato Fine Chopped
- 4 Green Chilli Chopped
- 2 tbsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
- 1 tbsp Turmeric (Haldi)
- Salt To Taste
- 1½ tbsp Garam Masala
- ½ tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tbsp Chicken Masala
- Green Coriander Fine Chopped
Instructions
For Marination
- Take 1 kg of chicken pieces and wash them properly.
- Now mix all marination ingredient that mentions above.
- After mixing all ingredients with chicken leave it for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
For Chicken Masala Gravy
- Take a pot and heat oil. Now add cumin, cloves, black pepper, green cardamoms, cinnamon stick, bay leaf.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes. Now add onion and saute it until the masala turns golden brown.
- Now add green chilli, turmeric, coriander powder, salt, red chilli and saute it.
- Add marinated chicken and cook it for 5-7 minutes.
- After that add tomato and saute it for 10-15 minutes. At this stage add garam masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder, chicken masala and saute for 2 minutes.
Notes
- If you want to skip the marination step then you do it. But in that case, you need to little bit more time to cook it.
- When you add salt in gravy then remember that you already add salt in the marination.
